Here are the Koala Research Winners!

I loved how Cathan's entry was very eye catchy. The entry was very simple to understand and there were very interesting facts.

I loved the style of Yumi's entry! A very beautiful drawing and title definitely made me stop and look. I loved the blackboard you put in as well. A very great job.

Smartiera's entry just blew me away! Lots of color and pictures drew me to this report. The use of space was excellent and I loved your title.

I loved the colour/color of Mirajane's entry. Your use of words was different from a lot of the entries and that's what made it stand out. The picture of your chobot and a koala is superb. Great job!

All the Koala winners will receive 5 days of citizenship, a scroll and 5000 bugs!

Congratulations to our winners of the koala event. If you were not picked, don't feel down, as there will be plenty of more chances in the quite near future. Now let's see who won the kangaroo event!

The use of creativity of Artistkidz entry was amazing! The content was easy to read and the use of space was excellent. Artistkidz wins 5 days of citizenship, a scroll and 7500 bugs!

I loved the bouncing kangaroo animation for Blik3's entry. It made it stand out, because no body else did an animation. The text was simple to read and very eye catchy. Great job. Blik3 wins 7 days of citizenship, a scroll and 7000 bugs! 

The first thing I looked at with Critic's was his fantastic drawing skills on our art walls! How great do they look? The facts were excellent and was spaced out very well. A fantastic job. Critic wins 5 days of citizenship, a scroll and 6500 bugs!

Dean showed that he knew a lot about kangaroos! The color scheme was fantastic and the facts were great. I also loved how he showed the kangaroo's footprints. Dean wins 4 days of citizenship, a scroll, and 6000 bugs!

Wow! I cant believe that i won! Thanks everybody who helped me :) Now im on the video contest results..

Old User Interface

Hello Chobots!

I am extremely excited to announce that the Chobots.net Team has brought back the old user interface (with some new things, for the levels, Twitter, Bodies, etc.)! I personally preferred the old user interface, and I am SO HAPPY that it is back!

July Journalists!

It's that time again!

It's time to select the July Journalists!

Here's what the Chobots.net Team told us:

Hi Chobots! July is HERE! It's time to update our Journalists!

If you are unfamiliar with our program, its official name is the Journalist Program. In this program we award bloggers around Chobots who show off their skills in blog creating, posting, template building, and many other skills of blogging!

To start, the badge is in the lower-left hand corner of your playercard. It looks like this...

By being a Journalist of Chobots, you get some cool features that other Chobots don't have access to.

-For one, you get your own Journalist badge right on your playercard.

-Next, you get a spot on the official Chobots blogroll for the blog you own.

-And lastly, you get a bonus of 5000 bugs a month (which is paid on the 1st of the month).

To become a Journalist of Chobots, you should try to do at least one of the following things, the more the better your chances:

1) Publish original content on your blog.
2) Help out in the Chobots community both in and out of the actual game.
3) Post on the forum to interact with other users.

You may have noticed that #1 is stating how you have to publish original content. If you're wondering what this means, it means that when you make blog posts, you should use your own words, not just copy directly from somewhere else, (like the official blog). You're free to reuse pictures, but try to reword everything into how you would say it!

Aren't those some cool rewards for blogging about Chobots? If you'd like to be a Journalist for Chobots, just comment the url/web address of your blog (not a blog you work on, but your own personal and stylish cool blog!) to this post and we will review it. All blogs of any age can be submitted, but remember, you can only submit once a month, so make it count! We will add more Journalists to the program based on the creativity you put into your blogging skills.

Former Journalists from May and June 2012 will need to resubmit so we know they are still active in their blogging activity! Our Journalists will vary month to month based on their activity, skills of posting, ability to assist users both on their blogs and in game, and how much fun they can be!

If you have any questions, feel free to email Support and we will be glad to further explain anything on this post or answer any other questions you may have come up with!

So basically, journalists get a badge which will redirect to their blog, plus their blog will be mentioned of a blogroll. They also get a payment of 5000 bugs a month, on the first day of the month. To become one, you must apply by commenting on the July Journalists post! Comment your blog link (with some persuasive vocabulary) and then you've entered! Only about 12-15 journalists are selected a month, so make sure your blog is AWESOME! 8)

NOTE: If you are already a Journalist, you must re-apply!

The Chobots.net Team has unraveled two brand new (and amazing) contests! Before I tell you what, let me tell you what the Chobots.net Team told us (on the official blog).

Hi Chobots! We have a very interesting contest for you all this week!

We’re doing a spectacular competition where you Chobots have to ‘Make and Bake’ your very own Chobots food!

Here’s how the competition will work:

1) Bake your very own Chobots food. (Examples: Cookies, cakes, cupcakes, pies and more!)
2) Take a photo of your grand bake.
3) Comment your Chobots creation in the comments!

Hey Chobots! We have a very cool contest to show you all this week!

We are doing a special contest where you will have your own Chobot in a video/picture book in real life and create your own thrilling story!

Here's how this will work:
1) Print out your own Chobot(s) by following the guide below, credits to Blik3.
2) Create a video or take a few pictures and make a comic/book with your Chobot in some kind of thrilling story (Idea: Nichos attacking or involving them).
3) Prizes for this contest will be awarded to EVERYBODY that enters and meets the basic qualifications.

Blik3's Guide:

If you follow the guide and have your Chobot (and possibly some Nichos!!!), you can start creating your video or taking a few pictures in different poses with some chat!

I know that this might seem like a difficult contest, so I'll be having some MAJOR prizes to give away.

1st (2 people): 1 month Citizenship, 10,000 Bugs, 100 Cho Energy
2nd (3 people): 3 weeks Citizenship, 8,000 Bugs, 80 Cho Energy
3rd (3 people): 2 weeks Citizenship, 6,000 Bugs, 60 Cho Energy

Maintenance!

Hey everychobot!

Chobots.net is sadly down for maintenance right now. Another hacker barged in and started adding random items to the catalogs for 0 bugs!

We here at The Chobots Galaxy highly advise to avoid purchasing these items. They are hacked, and well, moderators will remove them from your wardrobe. And when they do, you could get banned! It's really a win for the Chobots.net Team.

I've recently discovered the new updates! Lots of people were angry because it seemed like the maintenance was worthless, and that there were no updates. But take a look at this!

BREAKING NEWS!: Jake And Strawberry - FIRED!

I have breaking news! Both Jake and Strawberry have been fired! Only The Chobots Galaxy can tell you truly why....

• So, William has recently been coming on Chobots.net every now and then. Just today, Jake sent him private moderator messages that said "Sorry - Chobots.net is a looser-free game! Please leave!". He was fired for constant rude behavior and abusing powers.
• Strawberry just basically.... left. She quit on her own.

Now, here's the problem with firing Jake. Jake has major access to the Chobots.net database, so with a simple wipe out, he could destroy Chobots.net. We're not sure what's going to happen, but many chobots are already shouting "It's Chobots.so all over again!", and "It's The Chobots.com 2011 Hacking All Over Again!". We have reason to believe Ethan is the new Head of Game Development, due to the fact that he is/was Vice Head of Game Development. Stay tuned with The Chobots Galaxy for the latest news on this!

William Pays A Visit

So I was just skipping a few stones and thinking about stuff when all of a sudden William popped his mouse-head in!

If you don't know who "william" is, let me explain to you who this awesome chobot is.....

• He created something called "Epic Movies" on his YouTube account for Chobots.com.
• He was a junior, citizen, agent, and made a moderator on Chobots.com.
• He was one of the first ever moderators on Chobots.net. However, he sadly retired. Did you know, he was the second person to ever retire from Chobots.net? (The first one was "Star", a designer, aka tovictory).

It's pretty cool to see him paying a visit! I asked him what he was doing these days, and he told me:

"I sell bottlecaps for money."

Although, from his YouTube channel, I can guess he plays Minecraft.

Then he was just stalked and eventually left. Everybody complained that he didn't say goodbye. But it was sure worth it! :D
